七美南滬港是七美島的門戶，舉凡旅遊快艇、交通船、大小漁船都是由南滬港進出七美，加上南滬港所在地為七美島人口最密集的南港村，不管是住宿、餐飲、民生用品，甚至是市場都在碼頭區，使得碼頭和繞過七美碼頭之後的東岸形成鬧與靜的強烈對比。
Nanhu Harbor is the gateway to Cimei Island. All the tour boats, shuttle boats and fishing boats enter and leave Cimei here. As Nanhu Harbor is located at Nanhu Village, the most densely populated area on the island, all of the accommodation, food, everyday goods, and even the local markets are located in the harbor area. This creates a sharp contrast between the busy Cimei Harbor and the tranquility of the east coast beyond.
